MBA in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) will equip our students with the essential strategies for understanding and managing an organization and its human resource in the area of HSE administration.
Students will learn the essential strategies for understanding and managing an organization and its human resources in the area of HSE administration with examples of the strategic direction and management leadership of successful companies and also how to fit the corporate HSE strategy to the organizational type, level and culture, and the employee culture.
Students will learn the basics of health, Safety and Environmental management
systems and quality-assurance methods used to enhance operational and
compliance effectiveness in Health, Safety, and Environmental departments and
programs in accordance to ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 and related qualitymanagement approaches.
The student will understand the translation of corporate Health, Safety, and
Environmental Policy into viable operational functions. The student will be able to
communicate Health, Safety and Environmental projects to management in a
business format through an understanding of cost, budget and return-oninvestment considerations.
Students will learn how to incorporate health, safety and environmental management considerations as a component for overall firm strategy. The course discusses the process of identification, assessment, handling, and minimization of organizational risks. Students will conduct risk assessment through the process of collecting, analyzing and communicating scientific and economic information for use in policy formulation, decision making, and risk management. Mathematical techniques will be used for probability determination and statistical analysis.
